MARPOL company was established in 1994, initially with a simple mission of producing polyethylene films. Our success was significantly influenced by the following events:

1998 - implementing high quality flexo printing process resulting from the purchase of a printing press from Bielloni Castello.

2002 - implementing solventless lamination process following another purchase from Bielloni Castello.

2004 - acquiring The Quality Management System Certificate in compliance with ISO 9001:2000 Standards and HACCP System Certificate in compliance with Codex Alimentarius 1997.

2006 - acquiring The Environmental Managment System Certificate in compliance with ISO 14001:2005.

2008 - acquiring Certificate of Approval against the requirements of BRC/IoP Global Standard - Food Packaging and Other Packaging Materials.

2008 - introducing our solution of co-extruded barrier films stemming from the start of air cooling blown extruder.
